I name this idyllic house 'IJsselzig' along Hollandse IJssel: 'The Copper Hat', due to its flowing copper roof above glass and a wooden core. A more closed appearance towards the street is opposed by a broad view and openness towards the green lands at the back. The wooden core organizes many functions for kitchen, storage and leisure needs. Light is a major theme in this house, as it is captured from many sides.
