The Weerwaterbrug Almere by Quist Wintermans Architecten (QWA) embodies the future entrance to the Floriade site in Almere. When designing the bridge, QWA was inspired by nature and its flowing shapes. This is recognizable in the winding bridge route, the elegant bridge deck construction and the graceful pillars. On top, the bridge is furnished with sustainable and natural materials. The balustrade is reminiscent of reed in shape.
